Pricing and Other Details for Hands-On Workshops - No Pottery Wheel Demonstrations

Audience size: 15-22 participants - 90 min. program (plus 45 min. set-up and 30 min. clean up

Fee: for 15 participants is: $420 including all materials and my assistant - Extra participants up to 22 will be charged $7 for each participant present and making a project.

*** I bring an assistant for tall he hands-on workshops.

Mileage Charge: Travel fee will be charged at $0.65/mile round trip. Travel fee is capped at $125 for most programs.  Mileage discounts are available for multiple workshops in the same area.

Discounts: available for scheduling 2 or more workshops on the same day at the same location.

Mr. Hamelin will provide all the materials and the venue only pays for the materials used.

Colorful Clay Tile - Ages: 5+, teens, adults

Delightful all ages, family-friendly hands-on workshop! Join us in exploring creativity and techniques with this exciting project. We will provide you with white clay, as we guide you through the process of creating a colorful tile masterpiece. Let your imagination run wild as you choose from a variety of themes to bring your creation to life. Using non-toxic acrylic paint in vibrant colors, you will transform your tile into a true work of art. Best of all, you get to take your unique creation home at the end of the workshop - no waiting around for glazing and kiln firing! Embrace a fun-filled experience and unleash your inner artist with our amazing hands-on workshop.

Venue requirements: Ramp or elevator for all workshops

* U-shaped seating arrangement preferred and one table for me towards the opening

In this fun-filled experience, we will be working with white clay to bring to life under the sea creatures. No need to worry about harmful ingredients, as we will be using non-toxic acrylic paint in a wide array of vibrant colors. At the end of this exciting workshop, each participant will proudly take home their masterpiece. Plus, no need to wait for kiln firing or glazing - this project is ready to display right away! Our all ages, family-friendly hands-on workshop is where creativity knows no bounds and while exploring various techniques, you will unleash your imagination! In this class, we will work with white clay, shaping it into two enchanting pinch pots. But why stop there? We will take our creations a step further, transforming them into whimsical gnomes using coils, pads, stamps and incising techniques for a perfect tactile texture. Finally, we will paint our gnomes with an array of non-toxic acrylic colors, ensuring a vibrant finish. And the best part? Each participant gets to take their gnome home at the end of the workshop! With no glazing or kiln firing required, this experience is an absolute delight for craft enthusiasts of all ages. Let your creativity bloom!

Welcome to our all ages, family-friendly hands-on workshop, where we invite you to unleash your creativity and explore new techniques! In this exciting session, we will be working with white clay to craft an adorable wobbly head creature using slab and pinch pot techniques. But that's not all, we'll also incorporate a variety of found objects to give your creature a unique personality. Once your piece is complete, you'll have the chance to paint it using non-toxic acrylic paints in a rainbow of vibrant colors. Best of all, you'll be able to take your creation home with you at the end of the workshop! No need for glazing and kiln firing, just pure creative fun for all.
